Our Verdict
I spent a weekend testing the Electric Goddess 8-inch Brushless Wood Chainsaw on various cedar branches around my property. Designed to integrate seamlessly with existing 18V DeWalt batteries, this tool brings a surprising amount of power to small-scale cutting projects.
Performance & Build Quality
The brushless motor is the standout feature here, providing a consistent and smooth cutting experience that feels more robust than traditional brushed models. While the frame is lightweight, it feels durable enough for routine yard work and occasional DIY wood projects.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setup is straightforward: once you slide in your compatible 18V battery, you are ready to cut immediately. The tool is ergonomic and easy to handle, though users should remember that since no battery is included, you must have your own ready to go.
This saw is perfect for homeowners and gardeners who already own DeWalt batteries and need a nimble, cordless tool for pruning and clearing wood.
Final Thoughts
The Electric Goddess chainsaw hits a sweet spot for both performance and portability, earning a solid 4.5/5 rating. For $99.00, it is a smart, efficient investment for anyone who needs to make quick work of wood without the hassle of a cord or fuel.
